Develop a Cap Specification Your Brand Can Repeat
Capzorva coordinates private label baseball cap development for apparel brands, importers and distributors. We work through the cap specification, branding components, sample approval and packing requirements with suitable production partners.
Start with your reference cap, design files or a written brief. Confirm the intended customer, preferred fit, fabric, colour and quantities by style. A repeatable specification should describe both the cap itself and the branding details, so future orders have a clear reference.
Confirm the Base Cap Before Adding Branding
Choose the crown profile, panel layout, structure, brim shape and rear closure before finalising decoration. These decisions affect fit, appearance and the available space for logos.
An existing cap construction may provide a starting point, subject to material availability and the changes required. Developing a different fit or structure needs further review and sampling. A photograph alone cannot confirm crown depth, fabric feel or adjustment range.
Document the selected fabric, colour reference and measurements. If several colours share one design, confirm whether their materials and components remain consistent across the range.
Coordinate Logos, Labels and Packaging
Private label development can include front, side or rear decoration, inside brand labels, size labels, hang tags and packaging. Select the components your order needs rather than adding every available option.
Provide artwork with finished dimensions and placement instructions. Embroidery, patches and printing have different limitations, especially for small lettering, fine outlines and designs crossing panel seams. Review the appropriate logo and embroidery details before approving the design.
Inside labels need confirmed folds, sewing allowances and orientation. Hang tags require approved wording, stock and attachment details. Product information must match the actual cap; any certification mark requires separate verification and authorization.
Approve a Complete Branded Sample
A decoration proof can confirm part of the design, but the complete sample shows how the components work together. Check fit, crown shape, brim profile, logo position, label comfort and tag attachment on the assembled cap.
Our sample development process establishes the physical reference for production. Record any revisions clearly and identify which sample version is approved.
Changes to fabric, closure or decoration after approval may require another review. If packaging affects the crown or raised logo, approve the cap inside its proposed packaging as well.
Confirm MOQ, Costs and Production Timing
MOQ is reviewed by cap style, colour, fabric and branding requirements. Labels, patches and printed boxes may have their own minimum quantities, which can differ from the cap quantity.
Quotation should identify the agreed cap specification, branding components, packing format and applicable setup charges. Confirm sample costs, revision requirements and how unused branded components will be handled.
Sample timing and production schedules depend on specification complexity, material availability and approval progress. Share your required delivery date and destination early so production completion and transport time can be considered separately.
Prepare Inspection, Packing and Repeat Orders
Production checks should compare the caps with the approved sample and written specifications. Focus on fit, shape, decoration, correct label versions and quantities by style and colour. Any third-party inspection or laboratory testing must be agreed separately.
Coordinate cap packaging to protect crowns, brims and branding during handling. Confirm carton assortment, identification and destination requirements before shipment preparation.
For repeat orders, reference the approved specification and disclose any requested changes. Material availability and colour should be reconfirmed before proceeding.
Send your cap reference, artwork, branding component list, quantities by style and colour, destination and target delivery date to request a quotation.
